WOW - More Koalas in the back yard!!!

Weve had another exciting night with the koalas again tonight.....

The tree above the clothesline is getting all the actions. It has heaps of lovely fresh green gum leaves on it.... great place to feed.

My son went out to bring the rabbit inside - it doesnt like sleeping outside!!! And he found these koalas again....

Mother and baby this time. Mother was only about 3 feet up the tree and the baby was stuck on the ground. The tree is forked right at the bottom. The mother was calling baby, but baby was a bit confused and went up the wrong branch...

You can see in this photo,. Mum is leaning over and calling to baby. Baby is calling back to her. Next thing you know, mother has jumped across to the other branch - literally jumped!! Totally amaising....and baby climbs up on her back. She nearly landed on baby and baby let out a swark!!!

Here they both are.... baby is climbing round to the back of mum. But this branch in too low and small to support them, so with baby on her back, she jumps across to the other branch and scoots up the tree in seconds!!!

We are so lucky to get a birds eye view of it all out in the country!!!
