MasterBLOGchef Week 5 - Crispy skin tarragon chicken with beans

 This is Week5

Loving this challenge
and i am realising, thats its not necessarily the cook..
Its just the unexplained incorrect receipies ive followed, because so far its all good!!!

WEEK 3 Is:

crispy skin tarragon chicken with beans

  • 80g unsalted butter, softened
  •  1 tablespoon chopped tarragon leaves
  •  2 teaspoons finely grated lemon rind
  •  sea salt and cracked black pepper
  •  4 x 240g chicken breast with part wing bone, skin on (I used 5)
  •  150g green beans, trimmed
  •  100g butter (yellow) beans, trimmed
  •  3 sprigs lemon thyme
  •  1 cup (250ml) hot chicken stock

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Place the butter, tarragon, lemon rind, salt and pepper in a small bowl and mix to combine. Place the butter under the skin of the chicken. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Cook the chicken skin-side down for 4 minutes or until crispy, turn and cook for a further 2 minutes. Place the beans and lemon thyme in a baking dish and pour over the stock. Top with the chicken, pour over the butter from the pan and bake for 12−15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the beans are tender. Serves 4.

This was totally YUMMY!!!

As per usual, we had a breakie at the Verdict...

and exchanged gifts!

So funny though,
Jack gave Bridgey the exact thing i gave her.....

Ive been doing my blog since 2007!
So much has happened over that time and i have shared it all.
Lots of personal successes
and a few failures
lots and lots of heartaces and tears..
Deaths of loved ones
New Pets
Kids leaving school...
So many things

And how exciting is it to read it all in print!!
Each 6 months i am having my blog printed into hard covered books...

The pages look like this...
Just like you type complete with spelling and grammer errors!!!

This page is my 40th Birthday party!!
Look him thinner i was!!
Oh to be that size again!! (Damn kids and their stress)
 See my fancy cake!!
Loved my cake!!

I get mine done through Blog 2 Print

When i am 80 years old and demented
