Book Review - Gastien Part 2: From Dream to Destiny by Caddy Rowland

I really hate the model they have used on these books...

Anyway.... I've just finished reading
Gastien Part 2 - From Dream to Destiny....

Well if the first book didn't trigger a myriad of emotions,
than this one certainly did!
What a character this man is!
You love him and you hate him and in the end you bawl your eyes out for him...
(Well I did!!)
And we move on to hate another character featured in the next book.....
This is a very enjoyable series!
I cant put them down!

Gratuity Catchup......

Arent the days flying by this year!!
Oh My Goodness!

With so many wonderful coffee places in town,
who would have thought finding a really yummy Caramel Latte would be so hard!
Ive given up on Maccas, cause even the McCafe coffee tastes just like drive through.. Terrible and Burnt!
And my fav place in town?
(I wont name, but all you followers will know who I am talking about)
tastes just the same as Maccas coffee lately!
And i really dont like paying extra for a Caramel Latte is if it going to taste the same as it
does through Maccas Drive through.
So i bit the bullet and went to the place that always has like 50 men sitting out the front talking!
I mean this place is packed all the time!
With Men!!!
So, hey they must be onto something!
So I called into Josh & Belindas Cafe and OMG!
There it is...the Caramel Latte that has been missing from my life for so long!
J&B please dont change your coffee beans!
Finally a coffee that lets the taste of the additives come through and not that horrible
burnt coffee taste that other places are now using!!!
This is what I was grateful for today!!!
A decent, wonderful caramel latte

It was such a miserable day this day
as it has been for days on end!
Rain, rain, rain
Everything was starting to smell musty in the shop!
And then I remembered that I do sell some pretty damn awesome candles!!!
So I was grateful that I can jsut go and get any fragrant candle I want
and make the place smell divine!

This has been a rarity lately!
Finally after days and days of rain
we had a sunny sunset.,...
Today I was grateful for sun!

It was raining again
and I decided to wear my boots to work!
Bad idea!
My feet ached all day and they still ache now from wearing my boots!
Even though I had innersouls!
So today I was grateful that even with very sore feet and legs
I could step back into my Birkenstocks!
As ugly as they are, my feet have never hurt from being on them all day!!!
So now of course, I am going to buy the very expensive Birkenstock boots for winter!
I dont care how much they cost, because i was will grateful for them every day I come
home without sore feet and legs!!

Today I was grateful to wake up to sunshine for the first time in a very long time!
Look at that lovely blue sky!

Book Review - Gastien Part 1: The Cost of the Dream by Caddy Rowland

Book no 11 for 2012..

've been reading alot of Book Review Blogs lately
Seeing as I now have a kindle
and there is no end to the choice of books I read.....
I came across this one:

GASTIEN PART 1 - The Cost of The Dream

Even though its not what I would normally read, I decided to give it ago...
Here is how it read

Stunningly handsome Gastien has two dreams that burn relentlessly inside of him. First, he wants to become a great artist. Nineteenth century France is a hotbed of new ideas in art; unfortunately, na├»ve young men, hoping to achieve impossible dreams, die in the gutters of Paris every day.
Gastien also wants to become a great lover. That will not be so difficult. So far, nineteenth century women can only dream of a man who cares if he actually satisfies them!
He has no training, no money, and no connections. And, he is a virgin…so far.
What does he have? Raw, natural talent, a willingness to learn, and a face and body no woman will be able to resist. He vows to stop at nothing to make his dreams come true.
Gastien Beauchamp, Paris is yours for the taking.
Sometimes, the "impossible" is possible. But the cost can be extremely high

Well, the cost of the dream was high, and disturbing to read...
But I couldn't put it down at all!
I cant really tell you much without spoiling it, but in my opinion,
its not one for the faint heated!

I rated it

Couldn't put it down!
