Did anyone see this story last night on 60 minutes about Bianca Saez. She suffers a chronic case of Tourettes Syndrome. The worst case seen in Australia. You can read it on the 60 minutes site here.
Honestly, I bawled my eyes out. Where i was wiping my eyes on my jumper was actually wet!!!
This was a tragic young lady who seemed possessed. She would hit out at anyone and mostly herself then appologise and then lash out again. Their house is trashed with holes in all the walls and the bathroom, her bedroom. Its just so so sad.
But she saw a story on a man in America that has a severse case of parkinsons desease which was controlled with deap brain stimulation.... Bianca wanted this for herself... so she very bravely underwent the opperation to wonderful success. Its thought that within the month all her ticks will be gone...
Shes so most beautfiul gentle person, effected by this dreadful desease and will now be able to live the life of a normal 16 year old. Im am possitive this young woman is going to achieve great things in her life having suffered this her whole life.... Lets keep an eye on her... it maybe humanity awareness or simply being a happy student... but no matter, i am sure she will be a credit to herself and her dear parents... Congratulations Bianca!!!

Yes I did see this....I cried for that family....made me think that I have nothing to worry about compared to them....so glad that her operation seems to be successful.
