k, I did warn you about this post!! lol
This is the Country Paperarts Retreat Post......
Very long!!!!

What a great weekend we all had at the gorgeous Lake Keepit between Gunnedah and Tamworth!! A Half hour drive from my front door!!!
Gorgeous food and copuous amounts of it!!
Wonderful fun inspiring teachers
A great bunch of fun ladies
A beautiful weekend!
Comfy and quaint accomodations!
What more can a person ask for???
Yes, and there was shopping!!!!!

This was the BEST fun!! I cant imagine why local scrappers didnt flock to this reteat in their droves! But i was the Only Gunnedah Scrapper!!!
Come on ladies, lets make a table of it next year!!!!

So some photos!!!
Look at this place!! This photo was taken off the verandah of the Dining room. Over to the left are the accomodations and to the right is the homestead where we scrapped.
All the glorious Fauna and Flora were out in full bloom!!
Lots of birds and bees....
I got to meet Meg after being On-line buddies for the last couple of years!!
She was nothing like i expected!!! She looks fabbo!!!
Great work Meg.. Very inspiring!!!
And such a lovely genuine person!
Brenda popped out to say hi too! Brenda lives even closer and i have booked her in for next year! Im under instruction to drag her along kicking and screaming!! lol
The lovely Lindy and Phillipa came up all the way from Brisbane to join us, and also as i mentioned earlier, so did Jules....
All Scrap with V buddies!!
Such a long trip for them, it was great to see them all again!!!
We had heaps of fun taking some silly photos!! But we were actually trying to be serious!!

Then just for fun, one of me!!

I did a four classes all up with Jill and Ngaire.
Both brilliant inspiring scrappbookers!
I shared the layouts yesterday..
But here is the cigar box i made with Jill. I just have to finish the album that goes inside it.

And of course, we had to do the photo thing....
Here is one with Jill

And with Ngaire

There was a Mad Hatters Tea Party on Saturday Night!
OMG, didnt the girls go to some trouble!! Awesome hats!!
Jules and I took the easy way out...
Balloon Hats!!!
Now here is what i did all weekend ontop of the 4 classes!!!
This was a challenge we had. We had to create a layout or project using a pack of supplies we were given...
"Bride to Be"
(That is me in the white!!) lol
This was a sketch challenge we had
"Forget Princess"
"Kibah"
"Brand New Ride"
"The Uncos"
"Buell Muster 2009"
I also did another mini album with Ngaire that i am yet to complete...
So it was a HUGE weekend!!!
