Once Upon a Sketch

Ive been so busy lately with one thing or another
that i have barely had a chance to scrap!
But i am working with Aprils Kit from
The Polka Dot Place at the moment!
LOVE IT!
(There are only a few kits left, so if you want one, better be quick!!)
And came across this sketch site
This is their May Sketch....

The layout
"Fresh Faces Beauty"

There is journaling on the tag,
but i got a little carried away with the flowers!! (Whoops!)
Here is a close-up!
(there isn't much, but it is there!!)

On the home front:
Emelia went back to school on Friday!
We spent most of the holidays together and after two days of fighting
started to enjoy each others company again!
Its so funny, when we were fighting i remember when i used to go home to visit Mum & Dad after I left home and all Dad ever did was fight with me!! There was never a time that he didn't.
It just made me wonder whether it was a similar situation with Me and Dad as there was with Emelia and I.
I think it was because over 2 months, so much can happen and people adjust accordingly.
I have gone off medication this year so i am feeling every emotion naturally and handling it accordingly, so rather than just pass of any comment that was said that might have been hurtful or something i reacted.
But the upside is that everyone got dealt with fast and after we recovered we had a wonderful time!
But I miss her again so much now.
Im not crying as much this time, but there have been tears.
I suppose i will get used to it!

This is jaw dropping pretty!
I enlarged the photo to look at those amazing yellow flowers...they look like they're made from yellow burlap type of fabric(?) Love this LO so much!

Gorgeous layout Jodi. Love all the flowers and especially those unusual yellow frayed ones.Your journaling makes me think of things to come here on the home front. My eldest is going away to England in a few months to attend university for four years and that is going to be hard....!
