Mum bought me this book for Christmas,
I have read all Bryce Courtney's Books..
Im a huge fan.
This one was really good, easy to get into
the characters were endearing
and the story was deep and gritty
with lots of twists and turns...
But Oh my God the ending...
It just kinda hits you like a rifle butt in the forehead!!!
A really great read!!!
About a Balmain Boy, handsome and a talented sportsman
enlists for WWII
gets taken captive for three year by the Japanise and tortured
and then returns to rebuild his life in Balmain.
Im sure you will enjoy it.

I might have to read this one...it sounds great. must admit I am not a huge fan of the author though...some of his I just cannot read.
I'm a real fan of Bryce's too. Met him a few years ago at a convention that he was the guest speaker. Absolutely brilliant!! He spoke for an hour and I could have sat there for another hour or two listening to him! I have read a lot of his books so will have to get this one too by the looks of it.
