Day 304... Huge Day!!!

It was so busy today.....
Completely forgot about getting a photo.... So we had to do one of the challenge ones here in the office tonight!!
So we tried Kats challenge. Stu had to end up taking the photo... I couldnt do it, i kept laughing.. How embarrasment.. mate??? (Thinking Effe here for those of you old enough to remember her) Too funny!!!
Anyway, Obviously, Kats challenge was to try to take a photo while kissing and eyes closed!! Im going for a peck and stus going for a pash!! too funny!!!

Too much laughing... lets go again.... LOL

Here is a lovely bunch of balloons for a gentleman Mum deliered today. She even sung him happy birthday... ooohhhhh!!! $55 well spent i would think!!!

Now, here is the wedding we did today. Just a couple of piccies. Mum will get some more tomorrow... when the centrepieces are done and tables set properly...

Im archerying tomorrow. I need a weekend off... im so tired and just over it you know!! I cant wait for the SWV retreat next month!!!

SO thats it for me.... working on a layout at the moment and then some class packs for SWV!! Seeya tomorrow...

Day 303!!!! Who Dares Wins.....

Have you seen some of these dares.... I have them listed on the right side bar!!! Goodness me!!

Today Im a bit boring though, as i have a wedding on this weekend that i really need to concentrate on, so i wont have time to run around chasing traffic cops, or being arrested..... So i have just taken one with Emelia this morning.....

But come Monday, i will start again on the Challenges.... or rather Dares.......

So this is day 303.....

Emelia wanted a photo shoot this morning with her new hoodie.... Here are some of the nicer ones...

Also, did this weeks challenge for Scrap with V.
The challenge was to scrap a photo of your mum, using black, white and red. Use ribbon, buttons and a journal card...
This is called "Cherish"
I bought some transparancies and stamped on them... bit of an experiement at this stage..

So thats today.... sorry the daily photo isnt one of the challenges... but as i said, once this wedding is done, than i will have more time for merriment....

Ok, im not talking to Brenda anymore!!! That DARE was just too much!! LOL

OK, Ill get the easy stuff outa the way first. This is challenge 10 at the Celebrate 2008 challnege on CyberScraps. The best day so far this year....
Of course it was the day of my party!!!
Challenge 11 is the worst day!! I dont think i will share this layout though... Bit personal!!!

Ok, now to the 'WHO DARES WINS"
OMG!!! Whos idea was this anyway!!!!
After driving around town trying to find a park containing no children the in the school holidays, we decided to go to the South School and the play equuipment is way down in the school away from laughing eyes!!!!

Emelia mounted the equipment first, instructing me on mouting techniques and ways for me to swing myslef into position.... easy!!!! No worries...

The only problem she had was holding the hood of her jumper into place.....

Ok, my turn..... when was the last time you tried to lift your leg over your head and bend at the ankle....

I tried several ways to get my leg over......

Hmmmm, just werent gunna happen..... I needed to stand on something!!!

So looking around i found the monkey bars and the padded step to reach them!! Now this is what i need.... Much easier to mount...

So after i straigned a bloody muscle getting my leg up over the rail, i managed to pull the other leg over procariously hang there.... But i werent gonna let go.....

So there we are Brenda.... You dared and i did!!!

Time to change the name from Challenge Jodi to DARE JODI!!!!

OK, I think dare Jodi is more appropriate for this one!!! Theres been some really good challenges, and i will get to them.... One invloves hanging upset down from kids play equipment!!! Like..............WHAT!!! But will see what i can do about that one!!!

Today though, after not being able to find a dress i liked enough to take my photo in (Will try that one again tomorrow!!), i did Kerry'S DARE!!! ask a stranger in the street and get them to take a pic of you in front of the post office.

I was in Tamworth today and after i couldnt find a dress, went to the post office to find only one "strange person"... my daughter and the photo she took was horrible!!! She was so embarrased and rushed it!!!

So i took my own (But i will have another go at doing it properly Kerry!!) SO here i am at Tamworth POst office... photo for the day of 301!!!

Didnt do anything exciting. Had to go to spotlight as i have a wedding on this weekend that required fabric i dont have.....
So that was my day!!

Day 300... A day at the park....

Seeing as there were no challenges issued today, i will decided to continue with the around town theme of Lisa A's.
We have a park out the back of our place... so i climbed upto the top of the very wobbly fort..... obviously not built for 90 kilo people!!!! (Shh dont tell anyone that!!!) to take today photo!!
Im wearing my rose coloured glasses, which i totally LOVE byt the way... so comfy!!!

So here is day 300 of my 365 day challenge.....

Now, what goes up, must come down!!!! Scary in a short skirt!!! Too funny!! The neighbours kids came running out to watch me slide down and were very dissapointed when i didnt land with a thump on the ground... I was very dignafied!!! (If that can be said about a 40 year old sliding down a playground slippery slide!!!)
And here is the view from around. Its getting quite dry again...

Now i have to go clean the house as its monday!!! Ive done everything else i can conceevably think of to put it off.... so short of scrapbooking, id better make a start!!

Day 299.... An Action packed Sunday!!!

First of all, let me start by showing you Joannes challenge photo...

Yesterday, Joanne challenges me to have a photo taken onmy husbands new motorbike (If hed let me)... Well, stu thought it was a great idea and would i like to wear his leather jacket?? I thought the leathers were too much, but i like this jacket as it has stuff all over it!!!

So here is my daily photo... day 299...

Ok, so now i am in need of more challenges for tomorrow....

I was out the back today pegging out the washing and i found this little guy. We have a few of them around the garden, but they usually keep to themselves.
This guy was out sunning himself, so i tempted him with some prawns to get some close up photos... Isnt he cute!!!

See his blue tougne.... hence his name!! lue tongue lizard!!
ALso, this morning, Emelia and i went out to get some relief at the local pistol club open day!

This is a photo of kens back. He was teaching me the technique. it was lovely spending some time with him while he did "his thing", ken loves his pistols.

I will have photos of me shooting tomorrow. There was the official photographer there and all!!!

At Scrap with V, the friday night challenge was to do a layout with the name of a song from the year you were born..... I know.. how tuff is that!!!!
So 1985...... what was going on then..... Doesnt matter - I was born in 1968 so i chose the song "THe Good, The Bad and The Ugly" by Hugo Montenegro.
So thats the name of this layout... SO whom is what??? I'll let you decide????

Day 298.... Challenge Jodi kicks off!!!!

Well, the challenge Jodi is really getting a great start....

I have a couple of new challenges, but keep them coming, as i need one everyday!!!! Help Me!!!

The Challenge: Challenge Jodi to take her daily photo somewhere or somehow different from infront of my tree where i usually take them......

The lovely Lisa A from from Lake Macquarie suggested i take photos of myself around Gunnedah.. Easier said than done. Theres a lot on on Saturdays, and its a bit embarrasing... But i decided to head to the main street and take a photo at our favorite coffee haunt - the Verdict!! I love the legs!!!


And here is my photo with the little "famous" accesory... the dog in a bag!! Its too cute!!

Well, I havnt had a chance to scrap today, ive been too busy ballooning..

I did two 70th Birthday functions today, one male and one female... too funny their choice of colours and theme.... They Both wanted gold and stars... talk about weird - as is both wanting the same thing... but they certainly didnt look the same!!!

This was for the lady... Notice those top balloons, there are another two balloons floating around inside that one... There is a machine you can buy that does this for you... but i dont own one, its all done by hand, or should i say thumb!!! it really is tricky and it kills my thumbs!!!

This one was the mans function. He's a truckie.... Check out that cake!!! There was so much detail on it!! Increabible job!!!
And these are his balloons. The centre black one has gold stars on it...
And now finally, for all those that have requested.... Here is a photo of the "Panzy" bike!!! But note - it wont stay that way for long... Its being streetfighted..... So when you figure out what that means, can you tell me..... please?????....
