Sharing some photos from AACC Emerald

 Emelia uploaded some facebook photos last night

so i would thought i would do a blog post and you can all share my tears......

I was being so brave...

All I wanted to see what what she was getting upto at College

and now that i see how much fun she is having

for some reason it makes me cry.....

She is having a ball though!!!

I have no idea about the green eyebrows, but she is wearing her bikini, so maybe its something to do with the pool and maybe zink..... as a guess!!!!

Maybe there is a problem with burnt eyebrows???

Who knows!! lol

Even working in dirt all day, a girl has to wear pink!

She is right in the action, getting her feet muddy!

But there is no shovel or digging implement.

Just in it for the mud i think!!!

Yesterday they got to meet the foals they are going to break in...

This is wear i cry so much!!!
She has been dying to do this! Its the reason she is there....

She loves horses...

And her baby is in the paddock so lonely!!!

They are a little wary at first...

But food always does the trick

even when they are standing in a paddock full of it...

Having some one else pull it from the ground for you must make all the difference....

I miss her so much!!
I miss her energy! And I miss having another girl around.

That being said though, i think its a little ironic that i haven't had any anti anxiety/depressant medication

since she left..... I'm not saying there is anything to it, just an interesting observation!!!

OK some adjustments to the story from Emelia:

• And the foals walked up to us haha, food had nuthing to do with it lol. but food did get to the heart of one of the little fullas haha" 
• That wasnt the after effect that was when we were trying to unbog the troopy!! hAaha"

Brenda and I had a trip to Tamworth today to do a couple of jobs....

We were planning to go and have lunch when we just though

Well, I screamed and i cried and i screamed!!!!

Talk about a thriller!!!!

We had a wonderful day! Sometimes the best days are the ones that just happen!

Some Weekend Activities

It was a varied weekend...
Did lots of different things...

First of all, i got a new computer and i am having so much trouble loading all my actions into PSE9.

I think it has something to do with it running the new Windows program on it!
So frustrating!
So at the moment, i am running two computers!!! Grr!!!

Anyway, I did a little sewing and sewed a few more squares for my quilt..

It needs cream im thinking, although there will be cream around the edge...

And i also did two traditional scrap layouts!!
First time in almost a month!!!

Brand New Addiction

There comes a time when you just want to try something new...

I discovered just before Christmas

when i went to a friends place to check out her chrissy stuff

that i want to learn to quilt!!!

My friend Nicole has some of the most beautiful quilts gracing her house

patchwork and embroidered banners on the walls

and they look adorable!!

The above is one of Nicole's Chrismtas Quilts.

I used to sew all the time...

I thought i could at least stitch a straight line..

Kinda turns out i cant!!! haha

But anyway, that being said

I went to the fabric shop with Brenda on Monday after coffee

and i saw there were some lovely quilt patterns.

And i found the most adorable "Old Lady" flannelette fabric

so i thought ok, im going to make a start!

I decided to go to the class on Thursday!!!

And guess what!

Brenda went too cause she is also making a quilt for her daughter!

So it turned out to be a wonderful day!

Haha I just noticed i have the sunnies on my head too!! What a dag i tell ya!
