I love my books

I read a few each week!!

At the moment i am loving Teen Novels....

I found these ones at Big W before Christmas

They are 2 1/2 inches thick!!

But SO GOOD!!!

I read today that City of Bones has been signed for a movie!!  Yay!
When i read these I thought they were so much better than Twilight!
I am totally a Jase Fan!! Yummy!

Currently this is a trilogy, but a forth book will be released later this year 

and there will be another 2 more...

And then there is this series with is a prequel to the above books.

This one I couldn't put down!
There are so many hero's to fall for in these books!!!

The two main Hero Will and Jem are so different

and you love them both, as does the leading lady!!!

This is also a trilogy...

I have already borrowed mine out, but run into Big W and grab a copy, you wont regret it!!
If you loved Twilight and other fantasy novels, you will adore these books!

Weekends Events

You may recall a few years ago

that i proudly announced on my blog a brand new coffee shop in Gunnedah....

Well guess what??

We now have another wonderful coffee place...

(We do actually have a few more, but i personally dont use those ones...)

This one is

Hollywood on Conadilly!

I went and checked it out on Saturday and the food was so nice

beautiful coffee!!

But today when we went for our normal Monday Morning Coffee Meeting

they were closed!!!
How sad is that, so when we coffee on Mondays we wont be able to go there...... 

It has a lounge with a coffee table at the front of the shop

which Stu was very excited about,

as he will be able to have the odd "Meeting" here and they can have round table discussions

in a much better environment where they were having them before.

Room for maybe 6 - 8 people....

Much more comfortable..

But also,

they have really gorgeous affordable evening wear for skinny minnies

and some adorable shoes and handbags

and cute little gifts

So exciting!!!!

And Stu went to a motorbike Rally thing at Murrundi

it was the

Thunderwest, Pearlbrook FSB 2011

And all the usual activities that the degrenerates (Said with love :))

enjoy like

The gear shops, bike shows, the burn out comp...

There were some really AWESOME BANDS apparently..

and then one really arrogant little band called

Rose Tattoo

(which apparently were totally nothing compared to some of the young unknown bands that they had there)

And of course

as there always is at these types of events...

The strippers!!

This guy was very happy to be on the receiving end of a thrown g string!!!

I dunno what the guys,

or my guy in particular sees in strippers.... honestly,

all I see is sleaze... by all means comment if you disagree....

And on an Emerald note...

Emelia is recovering from her upset last week..

Obviously the hurt will be there for a long time, but she is coping with it all...

And having a ball with the Campus Lifestyle...

Its another Digi Layout.

The majority of things on this layout came from a Kit that was made up to help Digi Designer Zoe Pearn who was dreadfully effected during the recent floods here in Australia.

It was a HUGE kit,

with beautiful colours.

The kit is available for Sweet Shop Designs where Zoe is a designer.

The good thing about Digi scrapping, is that when there are bust ups and the photo no longer suits the layout challenge, you can just replace it!!!!

This is Stu and I during our wedding waltz..

A New School........

We took Emelia to her new School on Friday last week.

She is now attending the

Australian Agricultural College Corporation (AACC)

Emerald Campus

She will complete Cert 1,2 & 3 this year in Agriculture

and next year will do Cert 4 and the Diploma

Specialising in Horse Breeding.

Its lovely and green after all the rain....

These guys don't have any flood damage, they are on a little hill,

but they do get cut off from town.

This is where she will call home for the next 10 months or so

They are little 4 Bedroom cottages

fully air conditioned thank goodness!!

These are two of her house mates, the third one arrived later...

Here is the kitchen that they will all share

I dont know why she found the need to stand IN her suitcase...

Maybe this is how people unpack these days... who knows!!

And here we are saying goodbye..

I didn't cry like a baby, but i did shed a few tears.

I had a big cry a few days before we left and got it all out...

But tonight I am feeling lonely...

We've grown close this last year working together....

And ontop of that her boyfriend saw fit to dump her last night after only a week away

and not being there to help her through that was so tuff....

It was such a cruel thing to do.

But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.....

We found this sign on the way home at Injune...

Thought it was very appropriate!!!

I made a lunch bag and covered two pencils....

I printed out onto A4 Labels and stuck them on!!
