Kaisercraft Design Team 2015 Entry

How exciting is it to share my Kaisercraft Entry with you.

Blue Bay Collection
From Kaisercraft
is my favorite Collection!
I love the greens & the blues in this range
and also all the natural wood type finished papers!
So versatile

Infact, two of my favorite projects were made
using this range!

The first project I will feature is my Layout.

"Home Is Wherever I'm With You"

For this layout I used papers from the Blue Bay range and also collectibles
and the Pocket Cards.

I have done a light mixed media background with stenciling using one of the new
Kaisercraft Stencils "Quarters"
and have then added stamping.
From the papers and cards I have fussy cut all the flowers, doily's and other elements.
Before adding splashes of black paint over the finished product.

When doing layouts now, I also like to add a couple of pocket pages to finish telling the story!
Scrapbooking is all about putting photos in albums and I know I certainly dont have the time to do individual layouts for the all the photos I love.

The 4 x 6 & 3 x 4 Cards are perfect for this. I love that Kaiseraft now do the matching cards for all their collections.

Here are some closer pics.

The next article I would like to share with you in also using the Blue Bay Collection.

As soon as I saw all the vintage shutters I instantly thought it required some kind of storage unit!

Making this project I discovered one fact!
Its impossible to paint a house before its built!

I always used to cover the parts and then make the unit.
But with all the bits and pieces with this unit I discovered that I am better off making the unit
first and then paint and cover.
It worked out so much better!

I gave the unit 3 coats of Kaisercraft paint.
All over!

Then I covered the sides, back and top & bottom.

Then I did the draws and doors.

I added a little alcove at the top and covered the inside with paper and collectibles,
I also covered the inside of the long flap sections with paper and collectibles too.

 And here is the back...

This is going to be cute on my desk to hold my pens and washi tape and little bits and pieces.

Finally, I would like to share a cute banner I made for Christmas.
It was made up of lots of tags featuring the cute Julie Nutting Stamps
and using the Mix & Match Range,

I also loved this range of product.
I made so many different things from the papers.
They were perfect for Christmas Off The Page, but also for layouts which I also did a couple of!

Here is the banner, although it is missing the final two Angel Tags.
And unfortunately it was given away at Christmas Time,
so I cant retake the photos...

The good thing about these tags is I could use them as the banner in the Christmas lead up and then give them as individual gift tags for Christmas!!

This is the Angel Pair that aren't on the Banner.
When I was young I was always warned about the Good Angel and Bad Angel sitting on either shoulder directing my actions!
(I wont elaborate on which I listened to!)

The good Angel is of course a Girl,
in her lovely flowing dress
complete with a frilly petticoat

And the Naughty Angel was a Boy...
(Cause boys are always the naughty ones!! Hehe)

These are another two tags. Very formally dressed in the Christmas Clothes!
I love to cut up the Cards when doing projects!
They are so handy!

And the Final Two that I took photos of Individually.
The cowgirl tag features a photo of Stan wearing his elf hat!
He is actually wearing that hat which is a minor Christmas Miracle in itself!
