Weekend Riding....

Emelia and Solo had snippets of brilliance over the weekend...

By the end of the day he was jumping ok...

the way he should have been anyway,

but he was eliminated from every event bar one!!!

Dont know why he was so naughty with his jumping!!

He usually loves it!

But by the final event, she came out with a forth!!!

Then on Sunday he looked lovely!

Was so well behaved and beautiful!
Emelia rode really well and was deserving

of all her ribbons

Didn't she and Lauren look great in the pairs

She did her fastest Barrell time EVER!

And came out with a second!!

Thats huge!!!

Then it all went to crap....

He didn't like the look of this jump

at the very last minute

and lost her!!

Going going gone.....

And of course, it just got worse from then on....

Rotten sod!

I dont know about the physiology of horses,

but he did loose his mate last week

as you know, and Emelia hasn't spent as much time on him

lately... would that effect his trust in her i wonder?

He never slides into a jump like that, never has until recently!!

And the raring was a different rare,

it as one to get her off, not to say Im scared...

Horses confuse me...
