Jacarandas in Bloom

Gunnedah Looks so awesome at this time of year with the Jacaranda Trees Flowering all over town.

There isnt quite as many as Grafton, but we do have a few all over the centre and older areas of town...

I went up to Porky (Our Local Lookout) to take some photos the other day to share with you all.....

This is around the other side of Porky... its getting quite dry again now...

Out towards the left of the photo is Brendas place...

If you go for a drive when the sun goes down, the Jacaranda flowers are released and cover the road and parked cars in a purple blanket... Only after dark though...

Very weird!!

And look at this rebellous little tree...

But doesnt the colour look spectacular against all the purple....

I live in one of the most beautiful little country towns i think...
