The Kangaroo Hunter

 I have to share this story with you cause its so funny!!!

I went up to check Solo today

and noticed him flying down the paddock!!
In hot pursuit of two kangaroos!!!

I jumped the fence and he came running over to me...

But rather than going to the feed shed, which is what i am "supposed to do" (According to fatso)

I went up the back just to make sure he was chasing and not running away!!

He was chasing!
As we were walking up there some more kangaroos jumped out

and he jumped around and throw the legs out jumping, buking and farting

and took off in hot pusuit again chasing them out of his paddock!!!

Anyway, i had to move his water trough,

so i picked it up to empty the water and out and i said to Solo

"Give me a hand with this will you"
Because he is human and can understand,

so he comes over and puts his head under where i am lifting it and pushes it up!
he is a good boy!!

So i am pulling it up the hill and solo is behind pushing it for me.

We stop to catch our breath and then head out again..

Until more kangaroos dare venture into his territory!
Then he ditched the water trough and he is off again!!!!

I caught him coming back to me from chasing the kangaroos and managed to get a couple of photos..

 Here he is bolting back to help me..

But he has spotted some more roos and he is off again, jumping and farting...

 He is running around chasing them flat out!
It was so funny at one stage, he has jumped up and taken off so fast he has nearly slipped arse over tit and because he is so fat at the moment he really struggled to keep himself up!!
Its so funny!!!

 But after all the running around, i think its so sweet that he just comes walking up for a pat and a cuddle and to be told what a good boy he is for chasing the roos out!!!

 

He was so puffed!!

I had the hose over the fence to fill the tubb up, so i hosed him down and the thought that was lovely!
Had a bit of a play in the water and a roll!

He loves to play!

I had an old car mat over the fence so i could jump it and he was biting it and decided to take it away and kill it!!!..... I wonder where i will find that car mat tomorrow...

He is so special!

Today Josh Turns 20

 Today my baby turned 20...

No longer a teenager!

We didnt do anything special..

Just the usual birthday cake and some pressies..

He is so hard to buy for as he buys everything he wants himself!
Except food and clothes!

So he got food!
Heaps of his favorite nibblies..

And Nanny made him his favorite tarts and pies..

And of course a birthday isnt a birthday without a balloon!

Here he is at the hospital just born..

He was a little jandice.

and he had a very hectic birth

as Did his mother... look at me for goodness sake!

Id never had pimples in my life

and then when i was pregnant and had Josh i was covered in them!
Still have the scars!

He was always such a funny little kid!!

Always happy and smiling!
Never a hassle.

He loved doing things with his Dad!

They have always been mates..

and remain mates today!

 Sharing an ice cream..

So cute!!

He was always into stuff!
He used to have a little car he called Bopety boo

He used to fly around the room on that thing!!
We say his fly halfway up a wall one night!
So funny!

 HE altime fav holiday activity was looking for things at the beach

collecting sea shells and rocks

looking for animals in the rock pools..

Then he got a little older and the activities got a little wilder!!

Bow hunting!!!

Here he is finishing year 10 in 2006

Time goes so fast!!

So some updates just for the record..

He is 20 today!

Still living at home

He works as a casual postie and loves his job

He wants to buy and sell houses for investment

He spends his freetime playing

World of Warcraft

and in his "world" is a pretty cool kid.

He doesnt drink alchahol at all.

He doesnt smoke, do drugs or chase wild woman.

He is reliable!
He can be loveable when the wind is right! lol

He still kisses him mum goodnight.

His Dad is his best mate

He likes to go on trips on his motorbike

He wont say so, but he does miss his sisters chatter, although at the same time he likes the quiet..

We are pretty lucky to have such a great kid!

they are really versatile for a girl and a boy layout..

 Its a funny story with this photo.

The boys were heading to Phillipa Island in September...

In Spring the Magpies go ape because they are hatching their babies

and the posties cop it from them big time!
Poor Josh thought he would have a week away from them irritating him..

but this Magpie had other ideas!!

Then with the backs of the papers..

I did this layout

"The look of pure innocence"!!

Which is a total laugh cause we all know shes Feral Cheryl!!

You will notice odd bits of randomness on this layout

I was watching a movie while scrapping

and i put things in odd places...

But there is no mistakes in scrapbooking!!!

You cant really see it, but it does have quiet a bit of dimention..
The photo is lifted and the lettering is lifted!
This layout is made up of a combination of Novembers The Polka Dot Place Kit

and also lettering from December Kit..

Creative Team 2011 & Guest Designer Search...

Hi Ladies!

Well, It's that time of the year again, where we are searching for NEW members for our Creative Team!

The application requirements:

*Complete the December 123 Challenge

*Send us YOUR 123 Challenge - so this means choose a colour, a word and a technique/theme/idea that you think would work well together and that you will be able to give us a step-by-step {in the future if we choose it!}

The requirements as a 123 Creative Team Member:

*To complete each 123 Challenge each month {you will be given the challenge at the start of the previous month, so that you have time to complete it}

*To promote 123 Challenge wherever possible! There are so many ways these days - on your blogs, on scrapbooking forums and of course there's Facebook! and anywhere else that you can think of!

The position will be for 1 year, but will be assessed after 6 months.

Guest Designer Search:

We are also looking for Guest Designers. We know that a lot of you have busy lives, and cannot make the commitment of being on a CT, so we thought why not give the opportunity of being a Guest Designer. The requirements are the same as entering for CT, but you will be a Guest Designer for that month.

December Jounral Day 2 - 5

Its been a hugely busy few days i can tell you!!!!

Day 2 of December saw the offer of two new scrapbooking positions as i have already shared...

OMG and that has been so busy!
Random talented scrapbookers from all over the world are getting strange emails from this weird woman about new Digi Mag!! Too funny!
But i am gettng there, its nearly all put together now... Phew...

Also on Thursday it was time to set up the tree..

So Emelia and I did that

and put a few bits and pieces around..

I bought Bambi and Faline's Twin Fawns... arnt they adorable...

Its been raining for most of December so far!!!!

Then on Saturdau Night it was Jacks Annual Christmas Party...
Got all dulled up.... and so did everyone,,

So we did a photo shoot!!

OMG this was so funny!!!
It took a bit to get us all in the selfie shot!!

 

 There was alot of cheek by some poeple!!!!

  

 Jack felt a wet thing in her ear??

 Di was getting up to mischief with the little cherub!!!

Poor little thing lost its innoscence... lol

There was so much laughing going on...
Stu came up from our place after being at another christmas party
and said he could hear the cackling 2 block away!!!

 But eventually we got a couple we could use....

And all this went on before this started!!!

But we missed Brenda, she couldnt come as she was at a work christmas party!! :(

A Layout for me....

I love this layout..

It turned out so gorgeous....(If i do say so myself!!)

I was playind with the November Storyboard Kit

but have added my own prima products

and also a Words or Whatever Flower Flourish...

Inspired by Bridgette (Our new Master!!!)hehe

I have used blanket stitch around a circle that i wrinkled up and sanded

to add dimention

and i have lifted the title with 3D tape..
